About Jeff’s Minute
I’m Jeffry W. Gay, a senior loan officer dedicated to helping families achieve the dream of homeownership. I began my mortgage career in 2004 after serving 20 years in the United States Air Force, where I flew with senior government leaders and other VIPs. Today, that same commitment, precision, and sense of duty guide the way I walk clients through every step of the mortgage process. I specialize in VA loans and am passionate about helping Veterans and Active-Duty Service Members maximize their hard-earned benefits. I also assist clients with conventional, FHA, refinance, and purchase home loans—always striving to deliver a smooth, reliable closing experience. Known for my motto, “Smoking Bones and Closing Loans,” I bring creativity, dedication, and real value to every transaction, sometimes even celebrating with award-winning BBQ at closing. Outside of home financing, I’m a world-champion pitmaster, musician, DJ, golfer, proud grandfather of seven, and lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan.
